After completing his education at Western Michigan University, Mark chose a path of service by joining the United States Marine Corps. His dedication and commitment to his country were evident from the start. It was during his time in California that fate intervened, introducing him to the love of his life, Jessica. The two embarked on a journey that led them to tie the knot in their hometown of Michigan before Mark's departure from active duty.
Mark's life has been characterized by his capacity for leadership and adaptability. He transitioned seamlessly from the military to the civilian world, taking on operational leadership roles across various industries. In 2014, Mark and Jessica made a pivotal decision that would change their lives and the community of Holdrege, Nebraska forever. They embraced a new chapter by relocating to Holdrege and subsequently realized their dream of fostering community connections through a shared passion: craft brewing. In 2017, they co-founded Lost Way Brewery alongside Mark's sister and brother-in-law. This venture not only brought unique flavors to the town but also became a hub for locals to gather and create lasting memories.
Today, Mark, Jessica, and their two lovely daughters, Olivia and Ilyse, call Holdrege their home. Their presence has enriched the town's tapestry, and Mark's dedication to his family and community shines through in everything he does.
